I like the look and action of the hackle when tied through the thorax - something I often forget to do — nice tie.

I tie a similar fly, which is very productive at times, but I keep coming back to this post. Your fly is so well designed and beautifully tied, I'm going to have to tie some of these up and relegate mine to the back bench.

Its hard to beat the translucence of snowshoe.
