Hans, agreed they are shoulder feathers. I would say there is little difference between the shoulder and the saddle feathers from what I can gather. Looks great! I have seen fish take odd things. Blue can be a very good color sometimes. I used to fish a size 12 blue colored dry fly that did pretty good. So, yeah this could catch some fish.
