Call it what you will, tied from memory...... from what I can remember of a picture seen somewhere. We do not have a lot of Salmon here and I have not seen anyone target them with fly gear, so I am kind of "winging it" here! The materials will not be the same as the original, not everyone ...

Looks to be the perfect kind of "drab" to suit our brown trout. They don't get over excited by flash colours or synthetics like rainbow will.

Carl that really is one beauty of a fly! Question for you all though....... Back in the day, when folk figured it was easier to tie hair-wing salmon flies than made-wing versions, the colours of the feather made-wing were generally mimicked with the colour of the hair.
