Re: Must watch video

Oh, I'm glad I took the time to watch that. Brilliant, as the Brits might say. And the debate at the end with the "typical" southern chalkstream dry fly fisherman, gotta love it. Thanks.

Re: SOFT~ HACKLE JOURNAL

I had forgotten I subscribed, and it came a few days ago giving me a pleasant surprise. I'm taking a more leisurely approach to reading it than I did for the first issue. Great stuff to all who contribute, a big thumbs up and thank you.

Re: New Digital Book / “The Flies That Trout Prefer”

I got stuck in the shuck on this one.... Liking it a lot but can't seem to finish it or emerge from it. My first read of this author. Captivating ideas. Terrific photos. Thank you again, Ray.

(I did find it odd that he never mentions Leisenring/ Hidy, anyone else have that same thought?)

I would sure enjoy hearing your perspective on hatch matching's place in fly tying and fishing over the last 60.

Re: Phesant and snowshoe emerger

I keep looking at this fly and am in awe each time. Tremendous design. Put together so very thoughtfully, not to mention the superb tying.

Re: Hook OCD (I definitely have it)

That's where I buy mine. They are made for beaders. If you hunt you can get them for about $2 a container. Each has 7 self contained rows of 4 individually closing boxes. I am very happy with them but they are not for everybody -- they are very cheaply made, so you can't shake them around too much o...

Re: Hook OCD (I definitely have it)

I'm all in, as they say...
But I keep adding hooks and have nowhere in my "system" to add them other than to tear everything half apart and start over...
