I'm not familiar with that term "shucked". I suspect that you are teasing me which is fine by me . It's fun to tease and torment with friends and this forum has treated me as a friend which greatly pleases me.

I made my own leaders for a while and they turned over better than the store bought ones. However, I got tired of tying the things and now I use furled leaders with 24" of tippet material. They work fine for me but others might find fault.... to each his own.
