Re: emergers
Thank you, hankaye, I still have much to learn when it comes to Flymph's and soft hackles in general. Hank do you know of a site that lists Flymphs and their recipes? I have been making the mistake of grouping Flymphs with soft hackles in general which appears not to be the case. Thank you again, Ha...

Re: emergers
It was around 1pm and the rises weren't splashy but more like takes just below the water yet enough to show the rings. Hello, Yesterday I was fishing the South river and came across a situation that puzzled me. The water was fairly low but these trout were constantly rising. There didn't appear to b...

Hello, Yesterday I was fishing the South river and came across a situation that puzzled me. The water was fairly low but these trout were constantly rising. There didn't appear to be any hatch that I could see on the water so I figured there were rising to emergers. I threw dries, wets and soft hack...

Hi Theroe,
I'm not familiar with that term "shucked". I suspect that you are teasing me which is fine by me . It's fun to tease and torment with friends and this forum has treated me as a friend which greatly pleases me.

Re: Custom Leaders - My next adventure
I made my own leaders for a while and they turned over better than the store bought ones. However, I got tired of tying the things and now I use furled leaders with 24" of tippet material. They work fine for me but others might find fault.... to each his own.

Re: Stillwater soft hackle
Hello,
What color is the body of the fly? I looked up the material as I never heard tell of it before and they offer a lot of different colours. I'm amazed at what trout will hit given all the different patterns that are out there. Thank you.
