What size is the hook?
The body looks great. Putting a thorax on it depends on what you are trying to imitate. That's a great midge pattern as is.

Hans, I just noticed my potatoes are in one of those bags too. It's a tannish color, would be great for spinner colored flies. Well Scott I will expect to see you Potatoe pattern by Monday.
