What size is the hook?

The body looks great. Putting a thorax on it depends on what you are trying to imitate. That's a great midge pattern as is.

Hans, I just noticed my potatoes are in one of those bags too. It's a tannish color, would be great for spinner colored flies. Well Scott I will expect to see you Potatoe pattern by Monday. Pat inspired me with his 20" brown post . Added an orange head to this. Changed the thorax to something more eye catching. I also bought an olive dyed Brahma hen hackle so decided to give that a go. The wire is different as well. It's the size and color I was looking for all along. http://www.u...
