Nice fly. It if very tough to capture the green highlights that you mention without natural sunlight. Even then it is very difficult. I believe the color you used is called claret.

Good eyes Mark. The flies are tyed on Mustad Signature R50U-94842 hooks. If you look closely at the barb you can see the difference between the new (small barb) and the old 94842 model (big barb). CB - I tye on and HMH Standard rotary vice, but the silk was wrapped with the old hand-to-hand method. ...
