It really is Frenchy time, or atleast Frenchy variations. As attractors or beneath attractors they produced alot of fish for me today on the Colorado and Roaring Fork rivers.

Cool, frenchies are certainly effective here in Michigan also, unfortunately rain and snow this weekend have waters running a quite a bit high right now, although it’s probably a good a thing after low water levels last year and this winter, maybe flush some weeds and other crap out.

DUBBN those frenchies are BANGERS! I'm not a euro guy and typically tie nymphs with a little more "soul" but I LOVE the frenchie. I tie a variant that's for isonychia and it's phesant I've dyed over black (actually a charcoal gray) with a black rib and a collar made from a claret/olive speckled wool yarn that ray sent me with a claret working thread hot spot behind the bead. Silver or black bead. It's a killer! And btw @letumgo Ray thanks for this wool "thorax" yarn man that stuff is awesome!

On another forum a link was posted of Kelly Galloups claim that the Perdigons have no souls. I had to think twice about his comment. I do not think there is a fly pattern that can be considered the threshold for crossing over in to the soulless. I would imagine that boundry is defined by our own convictions.

For me, even my generic midge larva have souls. Just as much as my articulated streamers.
