A fly that has done well on evening hatches down here swung down and across onto rising fish…

Grey thread, CdL tail and hackle, fine flat opal rib, grey rabbit / Antron body and a Spur Winged Plover primary quill wing. Sizes 12 - 14

Lovely pattern. I especially like the color scheme and profile.

Gorgeous Johnno! I like you description of how to fish this pattern "swung down and across onto feeding fish..." I can see this happening not only down under but just about anywhere trout rise!
Your pattern is so life-like and beautifully tied! What else do you have in your corral?
