Body - Silver tinsel
Hackle - Black
Wing - Peacock sword
Cheeks - Yellow duck or goose quill

You know, as much as I despise peacock sword, I find myself loving this pattern. Nicely done, Norm.

peacock sword is not my favorite material to tie with :(

That may be the case, but you've learned to wrestle it into submission. I know from experience that the fibers want to twist and turn, splaying in all directions. Nice job Norm. ;)

I have to agree with you about the un-handiness of peacock sword! Norm, you manage it well and it looks good!
