Hi Davy
Thanks for posting. Please keep it up!
It was really nice to have met you and T-Bird. I missed MT so bad that I was dumb enough to move here LOL. I'm sure after a couple of nice browns on the White River in Arkansas Montana will become just a fond memory ....
Looking forward to when we meet again

To day was in fact a great day here, fished my guys at BSDam with a low generation, fish eat good all day, Bows, Browns and Cutts.
just had the news of the new world record Brown, 41.7oz from the Manistee, we will have to go some to beat this over and above the previous 40.4oz Arkansas record ,( may need some lead) all be it l know for a fact we have fish well over 30lbs here.
There was a 25lb caught last week, not on the fly, a sculpin, at least it was returned. Its about time now we will start to see the fish move upstream, so l will be on the look out for the new record !!!

Again,
Welcome Davy. I'm sure Jim filled you in on our little forum. It's not extravagant, but there's a lot of great people, here, who like to learn and share. You will be a great addition to our group.

My best,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Jim has been onto me for some time to get onto this board.
Jim got a nice place out there and l can tell you the prime rib is a great deal after the days fishing, you could cast from the restaraunt into the Madison and catch one.

As you know we both frequent TPO, which is one of the other better sites.
I always look for some constructive FF and FT discussions.

By the way, l like your web site.

Davy.

When l get some time l will post some of my patterns here, may be after mid November as more or less l am booked for guide days and programs till that time, after which l will have a 3 month break from the river save for a few out of State bookings.
I may come to the Somerset show next year, do you attend that event.
Chuck has asked me to give some programs there related to wet fly fishing and tying. Been about 10 years since l attended that, in fact if l remember it was the first one as that time l was also a director of the Partridge hook co, which my friend Alan Bramley owned before it was sold to Mustad.
Sad to say the availability of Partridge hooks here to day is dismal, they moved the factory from Singapore to China. All be it l have some serious stocks of the old hooks, but few of the original sneck bends.
