I was able to wet a line yesterday. It was cold and damp. The flows on the Ruby River were low. I was able to put the steel to a couple.

I also wanted to thank Dubbin for his take on a midge larva. Worked well yesterday.

Look at that bend! Love it!! Were you fishing a bamboo or glass rod?

Great pics. Thank you for sharing.

Every now and again, I drag out the old Fenwick FF856 and have a go. It always makes me think I need to try a newer glass rod. Then, Alan (Brktrt) posts up stuff with his 'Cane and Silk' glass rod and I'm convinced that the sun will not rise again until I have one. Beautiful pictures, Boarmountain. Beautiful bend to that rod.

*sigh* So many rods to try, so little discretionary income.

Great job on the fly pattern.

The shot of you playing that gorgeous Bow is amazing.

Nice looking midge pattern that caught a beautiful bow on a sweet looking rod with one of the sexiest bends I have ever seen.

Who could ask for more?

Great post, thanks for sharing it.
