well, since i didn't get the fly i wanted to get photographed today, photographed, i figured i'd tye up another Tenkara fly just for the hell of it.
Hook: your guess is as good as mine.....just somethin' i grabed off the magnet.....has an up eye.....i like that "Tude" :P
Thread: orange Danville 6/0
Abdomen: a coating of Hard Headed water based head cement over the thread, light tan Goose biot (sucked on for 30 seconds, lol) wraped, and tyed in notch to the left
Thorax: some light brownish/golden tan dubbing with sparkle in it :D
Hackle: grey Hung. feather
these puppies are kinna fun actually..... ;)

tyed the hackle in by the tip, locked it, cliped it, did a head, took the thread behind the feather & back to the dubbing, wraped the turns towards the bend, tyed it off and whiped it. Then i just just fluffed the dubbing a bit forward to hide the whip. :)
please excuse the lousey single bulb shaded lighting.....frickin' standard time..... when the hell they gonna stop messin' with daylight savings.....

Looking good Mark!

They are fun aren't they? Just enough work to challenge your whole way of thinking. I can't wait to see some real tenkara in action. Nest June maybe?
