Howdy All;

Just be happy you're aren't in the Lake Tahoe area right now from what I
see on the weather resources, they had 169 INCHES total in the dump.
169/12 = a smidge over 14 feet. :shock: :| Donner party of ... :?

YIKES!!! I've experienced 95 inches in one glorious snowfall, but that is just CRAZY. :shock:

Do you folks think that flat storage of soft hackle flies in pocketed pages would damage the hackle?

I guess if the hackle doesn't get folded, it should be ok?

I worry about how some of my fly boxes (I use slit foam) can mess up some of my (more delicate) flies.

I do not think it will harm soft hackle flies at all. They are very durable and resilient. As soon as they get wet, you will have no idea how they had been stored. Felt fly wallets was a common way to store wet flies, spiders, soft hackles.
