This is a color chart from dd. I'm not sure this is adjusted properly. A problem with viewing things like this is, everyone's monitor is different, and the color I see may not be what you see.

dd, Howdy;
Thanks for posting that, we need to remember that our eye to brain connections are also wired indivually as well. Two of us can look at the same colo(u)r chip and call it two different names...
Hated picking paint colo(u)rs with the ex-wife she might call one color eccru (?), I call it a weird shade of off-white (insert shoulder shrug emot-con) ..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

One might add to this the following:
#1 White
#2 Straw
#3 Primrose
#4 Light Yellow
#5 Yellow
#6 Amber
#6A Light Orange
#6B Sherry spinner
#7 Blue
#8 Purple
#9 Black
#9A Grey
#10 Ash
#11 Golden olive
#11A Scarlet
#12 Cardinal
#13 Crimson
#14 Claret
#15 Maroon
#16 Olive
#17 Brown
#18 Green
#19 Hot Orange
#20 Light Olive
In real life, the colours are a bit brighter and with a sheen (it's real silk on that chart - it's not printed. That's easier seen on the left, in the "stout floss" column. #14 Claret and #15 Maroon are the ones suffering most from the technical shortcomings. In real life, Maroon is a beautiful silk.
I've been told that it is difficult to produce the promised photos of the spools. Here is a first attempt:

More will follow in due time. (That plastic Primrose annoys me).

dd,
The photo I posted could not be adjusted any further to get No.15 more maroon in color. I tried and will work on it a bit more.

Hi,
dd, take a look at the chart, again, I've made some alterations to it. Hopefully, #14 and #15 are closer to what you have.

Don't let go of that magic wand, Mark. You are quite close now. Don't think you could expect any better from a scan. The appearance of the real thing varies considerably during a day. It's this light thing.
Next I'm gonna lie att the bottom of the river watching silk against the sky. Care to join me, anyone..?

Tried that last year but could not figure out how to keep the sunglasses on underwater , DD I'd suggest a trial run in the bath first, mabye tip a can of coke in to give the water a little colour.
