Have you guys heard of Spirit River's tungsten thread? I grabbed an issue of Eastern Fly Fishing yesterday at the Lancaster show and it's featured in it.

This grabbed my attention almost immediately and was just wondering if any of you guys have had experience with this stuff or have any thoughts about it.

If its wire, I wonder if it will damage a standard bobbin. Yes, I still have a few, but most of mine are now ceramic.

It is a wire, a very fine wire. They say you can tie size 28's with the x-fine and the regular is suited for 12-20.. I'm sure you could tie 8-22 with it though.

I've never heard of it before, or tried it. I would like to hear a review though.
