Carl was observed yesterday in Lewiston, Idaho, spreading the gospel of tying wingless wets. His area was definitely well-attended at the time I was there, and he had a copy of "The Art of Tying the Wet Fly and Fishing the Flymph" on display. Sure caught my eye, as did his beautiful flies. :)

I should have noted that he was tying at the North Idaho Fly Fishing Expo. ;)

I had the pleasure of watching Carl tie at Albany, OR two years ago. He is a wonderful fly dresser. I missed Albany this year, and Carl, due to a small heart issue that kept me home.

Dubbn,

I'll find out on the 28th. Had some tests run and get the results then (The VA works in a timely manner). I'll let folks know.
