Plover & Purple

Post by joaniebo » Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:41 pm

Started out thing I was going to tie a few Starling & Purple Spiders but grabbed the wrong bag of pre-plucked hackles, so I ended up with Plover & Purple Spiders with my usual over hackling.

I, personally, don't consider those to be over hackled. They look about right to me. The best judge, though, is the fish. What do they think of your hackle?

You may change your mind Bob once they get well soaked! Very beautiful patterns friend! You should be proud!
