Turton's Black Gnats

Much like Pritt's "Black Snipe", except with a starling hackle and without the "pewit’s cap feather"

These are really gorgeous! You have done an amazing job in tying these! I'm looking at the body in particular and thinking insect (black gnat)! Masterfully done! Have you taken them for a spin around the block?

Been waaaay too hot for ths 76 year old to fish this summer BUT, heading up North this weekend and have LOTS of newly tied soft hackles / spiders to try.
