Good looking pattern. When I am nymphing or swinging soft hackles, this is the style that puts me in my confidence zone. Really good tye !!

I agree with Wayne. That's a confidence zone fly. I would fish that until there was nothing left on the hook, then fish the bare hook. Really well done.

Great fly. I like how the black list of the furnace delineates a "thorax". Well done.
I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...

I used about 2 parts beaver to 1 of nylon, just a rough estimate. Lots of sparkle but maybe just a little less than the commercial blends of Antron dubbing I have to compare. I am working on Muskrat and Rabbit blend flies today.
Next I have a nice Mink blend to work up next.
