Hook TMC 3769 size 12
thread UNI red 6/0
red midge vinyl coated with head cement
thorax hareline dubbin hendrickson nymph
hackle Grouse
Not sure on the how effective this pattern will be but I liked the way it came out. I sweep back the hackle on most of my soft hackles, but on this pattern it felt right to let the hackle flare out some.

fishhead, Howdy;
I have heard ( form one of them baCENSORED fishers), that Tiger Trout (ya have any nearby?), have a certain fondness for the color Red. He said, he even caught a Tiger Trout on a small piece of Red Vine (cherry licorice), on a bare hook! Danged BaCENSORED fishers......
