Hi All;

I'm going to Great Feathers Wednesday to watch John Shaner tie North Country Spiders, I guess I need to add some died herl to my shopping list!

MANY years ago I used to frequent the Troutfitter fly shop in E.Syracuse (its still there) John Shaner worked there back then. I came in there one day and he had a fly box of beautiful little soft hackles and spiders on display.

A very nicely dressed Spider, only problem is the name would raise a few uncouth remarks
here in Scotland. It is commonly (and I mean common) used rhyming slang. ;)
