Here are two more from the most recent batch of flies gifted to me by our friend Doug. They are both of the flymph persuasion, but I have no recipe details; perhaps the dresser will divulge his contents

WOW! both are so gorgeous...........i envy you guys who can make a fishin' fly look so attractive. And these two are so different, yet both have mamximum appeal for fishing and just to look at.

Doug, these are just fantastic. What are the swimming hooks you're using? I saw one of your swimming flies up close and really have to say they really have that quality that you just know it when you see it. Killer. These are great.

Bill - What color is the tail and hackle on the top fly? It almost looks like it is a dun hackle with a faint green tint to it. Is this caused by the background color? Thanks for sharing these with us.

Doug - If this is a pale green dun hackle, can you divulge your source? Gorgeous flies. Good thing I'm not a fish, or I'd be hooked already.

Ray - Looking at the fly under a bright light using a 10x glass, it looks as though the hackle is just a very light dun, and that the greenish tint is "bleeding over" from the body in the photo. The background is plain white posterboard that takes on a shaded appearance depending on where my light is located when that particular picture was taken and where I had the "brightness" set on the camera.
