i've used everything ever made, more or less..........and definately all the current (over the last 15 yrs. plus) stuff..........alllllllll of 'em. all i use nowdays is Hard Headed for fishin' flies...........GREAT Stuff.........and i use a series of applications for show flies............to complicated to go into here and now, plus i've ran it all down several times before. Surfice it to say the Hard Headed is part of that series (second coat) and this is really bout fishin' flies.
Ray is totaly right.......a double whip and there should be absolutely no need for anything else.......but shine always looks cool. Gotta get some sleep.

OH! btw........you gotta link to where i can order that wax?????????

I agree. That touch-dubbed tinsel is a great idea.

Man, I would love to have a bunch of these in my box. It's just a perfect pattern that makes all the differnce some days. This is especially well tied and a very cool post. Sorry I'm just getting around to saying so. Killer pic too.
This board is just on fire. Amazing.
