Was trying to use up some of the odd scraps laying around."A thing is right when it tends to preserve the integrity, stability, and

Very larvae-like, C.C. Hope you have more of those "scraps", 'cause I think you'll want to tie more of these after you fish it a time or two.

Re: Rubber & Furnace
Rodger, this is a great use of the material. The lighting you've used really shows the glowing effect the body takes on. Not too shabby for scraps. However, if these are scraps...let's see the flies with the rubber legs.
(must be allowed since you've opened with the soft-hackle.)

Re: Rubber & Furnace
Great fly, Rodger. I think the body material is called "Legs Alive" or "Baby Bugs Alive". I have used both of these materials from Fly Tying Dungeon. I love the stuff. It makes nice fly bodies for nymphs & soft hackle patterns.

Ray - You're right. Couldn't remember the name of the stuff. Have a lot of materials from FTD, but a lot came in the Christmas box, mostly only partially labeled. Like the Hare's Web - different ones weren't labeled as to color. But good stuff, nonetheless.
