finally got my camera back and decided to take some pics of a few flymphs. i would of taken more but my battery died
recipe for yellow soft hackle
hook: your favourite curved nymph hook
body:yellow floss
rib:silver french tinsel
bead: yellow glass bead
hackle: partridge
recipe for bead partridge and orange
same hook as last
body: orange thread
bead:orange glass bead
hackle: partridge

Nice flies. I like the idea of the glass bead thorax, but wonder about how durable they are? Have you fished with them much? Is there any issue with breakage of the bead when using forceps to remove the hook from a fish?

i haven't fished them too much but from what i have i like them. in my mind they would be good for swinging in a bit faster water because of the little extra weight. i used a craft type bead that were used for like sequence kinda figure skating outfits(not for me, don't worry) and they look quite durable. ill let you know about the breakage
