Woodcock and Carpet Caddis

Another from the old box. I can't remember which but this came from the carpet in our old house. Must have been around 2007. :D

I'm telling your wife you're cutting holes in the carpet! (empty threat)

Love it! It even has a catchy name.

Great fly. I love the way the Woodcock curves in with the fly. This is a goody in my book.

Really cool pattern. Trout pasta!
Just don't let your wife see this post and everything will be fine.

Kelly's observation about the hackle shape is dead on; an "oldie but goodie" for sure, w.

And if its a trout snatcher....do u still have keys to your old house. William in balaclava, torch , after midnight sneaking aroung someone elses living room - now that would take some explaining and a photo of the carpet thief, that would go viral for sure !!!!!

Thanks everyone. We lost our a$$ selling that house. I might need to sneek over there and shave the staircase. :D :D
