Body: Waxed nylon, orange; squirrel/synthetic mix, claret - inserted, and twisted

Hans, that looks good. Is the nylon a sewing thread or like the gudebrod size A? Split then waxed?

The latter. Danville waxed nylon to be exact.

Dour = Gloomy, Sullen.

Flies generally tell me their given name. I just listen ;-)

Dour in couour? maybe, but I bet I could find some big browns that would appreciate the colour combinations.
