A couple of flies.
A low water Salmon/Sea-trout fly.

And an other Greentail/Grannom.

Donald, I like the juicy caddis, and that low water fly is very elegant. It looks like you and Ray were swapping recipes yesterday. His BS fly could be a cousin. :D

I thought the same thing when I opened the picture. Once again, I am following Donald around for inspiration.

Donald - After studying the Greentail (Grannom) pattern, I have a couple questions. How did you form the butt of this fly? Is it formed with green wool yarn, or is it chopped up wool dubbing? I think some of the Chadwicks wool you sent me would work perfect for this.

Ray, I actually used Chadwick's Bottle Green for the butt.
It is one of the first items tied on the fly.
I tied the end down and gave a short rough wrap, it is better if not
too tidy. Then Dark Hare's Ear dub. ;)

Nice work Donald. The Grannom is a pattern we do not see a lot of now days.
