They also have a lot of other good feathers for soft hackles, including these:

Here are the leading pages of a series of articles on my web-site that should cover
most of the hackle info you need.
http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page157.html
http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page99.html
http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page218.html
http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page81.html
Another point to remember, is that this forum is for wingless wet flies.
Which can be made with cock hackle.
See - http://donaldnicolson.webplus.net/page109.html
I will not give you any dealers in skins, which is the best way to buy, and in the long run the cheapest source.
They are easy to find on the web.

Re: Hackle?
Some great information there Donald.
Boris, remember you don't have to go to fly shops to buy materials either. http://www.feather.com.au/
They do not have a lot of hen capes or partridge, but they do have some interesting materials any tier can make use of.
You can always get a heap of Emu, Red Fox, Kangaroo and other exotic to the rest of us materials and do a forum exchange to get some neat feathers from the rest of us........ just incase the girls don't pull through and you end up with more socks, undies and wine!

Re: Hackle?
Thanks Donald, that's an educational list for me.
I'll keep that in mind Jeff.
I've sent the list the various offspring... lets hope it yields some result other than socks & undies...
