I know most fly fishermen will scoff at such small patterns. I dont. There are times on the local tailwaters, and even on the freestones that these tiny morsels will save my day.

Wayne, wow. :D
I have enough trouble focusing on a #24 hook, let alone tying on one! Shows you have learned a lot about thread control, hackle plier control and hackle choice to be able to turn out such fine "scale models" of real flies! :P
Impressed and just a little envious.

Wonderful tying, Wayne.

Wayne, that little number is a charmer. Very Stewart-like. I like seeing these little flies.

A beautiful little fly.
I don't sneer at size 24 flies! I just can't dress them. :( ;)

Thanks for the kind words folks. I have a half dozen of these little patterns in my flybox. That should last me for quite some time.

Technically, they are a size 24, but the hook is a 3x long. That makes it a tad easyer to wrap hackle on. :)
