Hackle: Whiting American Hackle, dyed purple
Tag/rib: Tinsel, gold oval
Body: Wapsi Crawdub, brick

Interesting hook. I do not recall seeing that one before. I am still trying to decide if I like the shape of the hook point, or not.

Loop eye. This is a #10, I also have them in #12 and #14, maybe even #16.

They go back quite a bit - in time 8-)

Loop eye? Now that is COOL! Okay, I've made up my mind. I like this hook. :D

Loop eye, up-turned and shovel point barbless in size 14 and under....... almost a modern small Salmon iron. Interesting hook. :)

Very nice looking tie Hans, with the colouration, weight of the tinsel and hook- do you think it would make a nice Steelhead deeper water "swing fly", maybe even for nrmal Rainbow trout...... possibly even the odd Salmon?
