I opened up the photo and a gasp left my body. It is majestic. I swear some flies are just like art work. A simple line on canvas, a sentence on a page. This belongs in that category.

A truly majestic fly with bold coloring. Magnificent. Plenty of flow, and life in this fly. Bravo.

Hans,
Sweet looking fly! Dummy me wants to ask, "Is this a spey pattern?" It seems to have all the classic lines of a spey!
Great job friend!

It does have similar flowing lines, does it not? 8-)

I would not call it a spey pattern. It lacks the wing, and also differs in other aspects. I will stick to it being an "in your face" wingless wet

Hans,
I don't think anybody has more fun at the vise than you.
You got me curious about what the adult stage of this sleek beauty looks like. :D
I'd like to be there when they hatch.
