Zen, are you using Windows or Mac?
If Windows based you should be able to open your photos in one of their standard programmes like "Paint" and select resize- that will give you an option of % or pixel selections. Click on pixel and type 650 in the width bar- this should automatically select around 450 in the height. Save the changes and you should have a photograph suited to the forums guidelines.

I load my pictures in full size (1,5 MB till 2,5 mb) up to photobucket and then only put a link to the picture in the forum topic.

I never had any problems.

Zen,

I have a Mac. If you use Preview to open a pic, there is a pull down that allows you to resize to custom. I use this for my photos. Just resize to under the required amount and post as an attachment.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Thanks Carl. It worked for me as I now have a post in members photos and I was able to size the pictures down so I could attach them.
