I was experimenting again with some brushes turning them with my "Dremel".

Image

Hook: Sprite Perfect International no 12 (made the eye straight)
Brush: thin copper thread with dubbing (seal 70% zwart, 15% claret, 15% naturel)
Thread: orange danvilles
Hackle: brown mottled hen saddle
Head: silver bead

I did put on the silverbead because I am going to use them for the Roach here in the Netherlands and they swim a bit deeper.

They look ready to spring to life, Ruard! :D

Must have a play with those dubbin brushes, never used them myself...

They came out very nice. Please report the opinion of the fish.
It would be nice to see a picture of an unwound hackle...

Next week I will go to a little lake with trout in it, a kind of put and take, then I shall try them.
