I agree with you about Kelly being a regular guy. I spent a few nights at the Slide Inn a couple of years ago and had a great time talking fish and flies with him and had him send me his book on streamers that was backordered in the shop. Same trip I also scored my Golden Plover skin along with a great meal and flymph discussion with Jim Slattery. ;)

Silver Creek is my favorite trico trial.

Hey R.K., i can't wait to meet Jim.....i plan to see his place when we're out there this summer.
Misako fished Silver Creek ( i never have), when she was out there for the IWFF Festival in Sun Valley, ID. a number of years ago. She did pretty well on the Nature Consevancy water.....picked up a few Bows on little BWO Spinners i had tyed up for her trip. Back in those days i still tyed on size 26 hooks  That was the year she got voted on to the board of the IWFF which she served on for the next 4 years, while also Chairing the Club Laison Committee that entire time as well. That was a committee that did everything they could to bring Women's fly fishing clubs from all over the world to come under the umbrella of the International Women Fly Fishers. And she managed to bring many clubs from all over the planet to the IWFF. Her and the other three women (Mary Dette, Lisa Lyons then curator of the CFFC&M, and.....? lol), who all wore Geisha costomes that Misa had made for them, complete with white face and Trout headresses, also won the Costome Contest that year at the festival. Their prizes were copies of Little Rivers, Tales of Women Fly Fishers by, Margot Page. It's a nice little book. ;)

p.s. i need a Plover skin :D .....Jim :?:
