In UK there is a small operation called "fishing-with-style". Are you associated with them or is this just coincidence?

dd, it has to be a coincidence. I have never been associated with style of any sort.
Does the organization deal with the type of hook that was given to me?

Dubbn,
You are doing great stuff. However, when I tried to purchase some up-eyes (uppity-eyes?) from my local fly-fishing and fly-tying outfitters, I was told that they didn't carry them because they weren't "in style" now. I think that was one reason that Pete Hidy liked them—although he said the angle of attachment to the leader helped them swim better. I find it just as confusing as you do. Your fly would be a winner regardless of the eye style.

I liked the fly very much. The hook is really sweet. I have a deep fondness for up eye hooks like this. Thanks for showing us both.
