William,
I am just blown away with this latest series of flies. There is something about the one in the middle.....as if you lashed on a string of lit Christmas lites and lightly dubbed over them with fur! They are all fantastic and I am glad the prairie chicken is a part of these creations!
Everything you do William is just....fantastic! I can't wait until the next series!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

WILLIAM.........omg. They are all beautiful, but that MIDDLE ONE.........my eyes nearly popped outta my head when I saw that one. It blew me away. WOW.

William, nice to see some of the Milton Wollen Mills product incorporated in your wonderful ties here, damn shame the little public store that was part of the mill has closed...... good news, I have a lot of the products they make in my tying bench.

I find myself revisiting these wool bodied fly threads.
Such fantastic work.
And those hooks... Do. Want.

Re: Prairie Hen and Wool Yarn series
Thanks everyone for such nice comments. This was a case of purposefully leaving a few items out in sight knowing they would come together at some point. Those hooks really are special. Donald was generous in negotiating how to cover postage for the swap sets. I always come out ahead with you guys. Thanks.
The wool yarns from Jeff are still begging to be used in a number of ways, so there will be more to come. They are still on the main floor of the tying station.
And the prairie hen hackle from Doug was just waiting for the right scenario.
I hope to get these wet soon. Thanks again.
