Hank, I'm not sure if it makes that much of a difference, but the grouse tail is a nice material to use for nymphs, especially for smaller sizes.
Golden pheasant tail herl has a similar marking for larger sizes.
If I get to it I'll take a pic of the tails. I need to do that anyway.
