Re: Bracken clock
I keep getting a "file size is too big" message. I think maybe the universe is telling me to stop posting fly pictures on the Internets.

Re: Bracken clock
For best results on a web forum, resize all of your POSTED images to 600X400-ish at 72 dpi (dots per inch?). Most browsers are 72 dpi anyway, so bigger is...bigger. Side effect is that the file size goes down, too. This can be done right in Photobucket with the Edit button.
Note: When you save the resize, PB gives you the option to save it as the original file. I don't. That way if you want to zoom in on a portion of the original image and still have the detail, you can. It is a good idea, in general practice, to always work on a copy, not the original. If you mess up, you can start over.
Using the upload option shown above has limitations and drawbacks, as our own Mark Romero learned. There is a limit to how much data each account can store on the website servers. When you get to the limit, you have to delete old pics to add new ones, killing images in old posts. The dreaded Red X.
Server space costs money, and, in some instances images share space with the bulletin board. More pics, less room for posts.
It's also much more efficient from a user standpoint. If I change my mind about an image being posted, I can kill it in PB without having to chase down every website I posted it to.
This is the end of my campaign platform, please vote for me!!
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to jump on my soapbox.
