I'm feeling much better now. I had withdrawal symptoms from lack of forum. Donald's great christmas present "Ancient and Modern" was all I read for a week. Do you realize how much has happened on the forum this last week? A big chunk to chew.

Thank you for your consideration.

fly_fischa, Howdy;

Have you been in touch with Mr. Lewis to let him know how well received his flys are on the forum?
Perhaps give him an invite ???

Heya Hank,

I have been in touch with Emyr, several times, the old fashioned way. It's get on the blower (phone) or write a letter, he doesn't own, let alone use a computer. I guess he's got more important things to do like fish and tie flies. ;) When I get home I'll be printing the post out and mailing it to him (I don't have a printer right now), with some more unique Aussie patterns when I get access to my tying stash. I can't wait to get access to the latter, I've amassed quite a bit since I've been abroad, think my travel kit had at least tripled. :o :oops: :oops:

Karsten, Howdy;

Glad to hear there are some folks 'out there' that haven't succomed to the Sirens song of the internet.
I'm sure that he could have shared some wonderful information and experience.

Hope all your travels are safe and none of your materials set-off the alarms.. :)

Cheers Hank,

Appreciate the sentiments friend. :D I've got a theory on the exotic stuff I'm taking home and avoiding alarms, let me run the plausibility past you? Being follicly challenged I was thinking of using the bird skins/furs as a toupe of sorts, just smiling and walking through the gates. Surely no one would be rude enough to question a mans hair/substitute of, that'd qualify as outright harassment in my books! :evil: I recon a jungle cock skin mixed with polar bear patches would make a lovely toupe, don't you?
K ;)
