Both of these are very nice. I particularly like the profile of the first. Beautiful hackle color. I have a brown partridge which I love but it is a bit darker and not quite as mottled as yours appears.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

I loved the beetle patterns from the wallet. I do believe the body was built up, without a doubt. I have used different things to build up bodies, so it could be one, of a number of things. I loved YOUR beetle, and the photo was SUPERB. It makes me want some bronze herl. I have eye sticks, guess I could try that, but they aren't really FULL. I like the shorter hackle. I tend to vary my tying...sometimes short, mainly not. These beetles look killer. I'm gonna have to try some.
