Pattern hackle index?

Anyone know if there is a database of soft hackled flies around with patterns categorized by hackle type? I am specifically looking for patterns using plover. I have found a couple plover patterns scattered about but thought a categorized list would save a lot of searching if anyone knew of one. I did a search here and there are some beautiful patterns by everyone.

Hi Carl,
In the book: A Handbook of North country Trout Flies by Roger Fogg there is a Chapter:
Trout flies from starling and golden plover feathers

Hi Carl,
Only five pages in this book mention the golden plover and the only original fly is the Hare's Lug and Golden Plover and that is the one "invented" by Roger Fogg himself. In the other one's Golden Plover is used as substitute. If this would be the only reason to buy this book than you can better buy his new book.
Perhaps we could make a database with golden Plover hackles looking in the books of the old man like Pritt, Edmonds and Lee and Tod and Jackson and Teakston.
I shall read Edmonds and Lee and let you know if there are any golden plovers in it.

Edmonds and Lee don't mention any fly with the golden plover only two (12 and 20) with a green plover.

Thanks Ruard for checking. I will continue to scour my books and the internet for more. I'll post what I come up.

Hi Carl,
Searching with Google I came to this site:
http://www.flyfishinghistory.com/pritt_patterns.htm
Searchig for plover gives the result:
Pritt: no 1,6,24 for golden plover, Green plover: 2 and just plover: 54

Carl,
The nice thing about Roger Fogg's book is that it does categorize patterns under the type of hackle used. There are various chapters on various bird feathers, which makes it a nice collection. In addition, Fogg discusses fishing techniques and gives some historical background on the patterns. It is well worth getting a copy.
