I was playing with a technique from Schollmeyer's book Tying Emergers. The body is first open ribbed with tubing then a dubbing loop of antron (I used a synthetic seal) is wrapped in between the tubing wraps and combed out.

Hook: Tiemco 206BL #14
Thread: green Pearsall's gossamer silk thread
Abdomen: thread base, open ribbed with an olive D-rib and followed by a dubbing loop of cream simi-seal
Thorax: peacock
Hackle: English grouse

-Very nicely done.
-I was not really understood, that the ribs first and then between dabing.

Yes Cicvara, thread base, open vinyl (tube) wrap, dubbing loop wrapped between the vinyl. Hope that helps.

That looks very good. I am going to tie up a few of them.

Wow!! This fly looks "alive" just as it is. We can only imagine what she looks like rather damp! Fantastic job! Hope to see more of your creative genius!
