Ray, Howdy;

Tup's big brother, well done.

Appears that you've acquired a new vise ???

Hank - Yes. Good eye. This is Vickie Eagle Elk’s old vice (HMH True Rotary Vice/HMH TRV). I bought it from the Maine consignment store, after Ron mentioned it in a post earlier this year. Took me a long time to get up enough courage to tye on it. This is the first fly I’ve tyed on it. It’s an honor to own VEE’s vice. She was a helluva tyer…

She was indeed, Ray. She would approve of you having her vise. She always admired your creativity at the vise.

Ray, Howdy;

Couldn't think of a better table for it to land on.

At least your T-Rex like arms won't need to stretch quite as far
while tying now, there is that :roll: , :lol:

Really nice Ray. I don't tie this steelhead style too much anymore, being in Florida. I sure enjoy looking at them. Love the grouse and Partridge combo.

Great looking fly. I'm amazed at how small the head is and still not crowding the eye.
I'm intimidated. But inspired as well.
