Plum Bum Soft Hackle
Hook - Ken Sawada Wet Fly Hook/Size 8 (Thanks Carl)
Thread - UNI-Thread 6/0 (Black)
Hackle - Ringneck Pheasant Body Hackle (from middle lower back - the ones with a metallic green tint)
Tag - Patrons Classic Wool (Plum Heather)
Rib - Oval Gold Metal Tinsel (optional)
Body - Peacock Herl (reinforced with a thread dubbing loop)
This is a simple variation of the famous "Red Tag" pattern. I think the plum-colored yarn goes beautifully with the peacock herl body.

I agree.
