One of my own: Hook: Kamasan B410 #14 Silk: Pearsall's yellow, well waxed. Tail: Pheasant tail barbs, dyed green. Rib: Copper wire. Abdoman: Twisted pheasant tail barbs, dyed green. thorax: Blend of dyed Argentinian hare and seal's fur, twisted into split thread. Hackle: sumatra cock (soft feather).

A friend of mine kept sumatra chickens for a while, and this is a beautifully soft hackle, much softer than genetic hen, but with a real, silky quality to it. I haven't got much and probably wasted it here really, I want to tie up a classic 'little black spider' with it. :D

Andrew.

Nice fly Andrew.
The hackle would look good on a Bluebottle.
