I haven't come across that body material - how dense is it? It looks like it should float - does it?

It is in fact spot-on neutral buoyancy. It does not float, nor does it sink. It remains kinda suspended when I drop a section into a bowl with water.

Blimey Hans - that sounds kinda deep - as in meaningful!

Looks interesting - very segmented. It might be interesting to tie it over coloured tinsels? Or a painted hook shank, which is something I keep meaning to try beneath a transparent(ish) overbody.

Very appropriate Hans. We had our first significant frost last night, with our first snow not too far in our future...but I digress. Crisply dressed fly...
