Hans, another very lively looking creature. I like the use of the tinsel as tag and rib. Looks like copper wire in the pic, but with the hair hackle and tinsel that fly could float high for a long time if you intended it that way. I haven't had the opportunity to tie or fish with seal. How does it fair in the sink or swim category?

William,

Seal's fur is pretty neutral in density, and the squirrel tail hair not much different. The hook is pretty stout also.

That's "component" - we spell it a little different in Ohio
