new fly for me, will have to wait awhile to try drifting this in the surface

FishHead, very deadly looking fly there! Try this version of that pattern with the trailing shuck and pheasent tail lower body and the lite Cahill thorax and the cdc puff with lite ginger dyed prtrdg hackle or hen hackle.
Your fly will be will be a fish catcher, its a good pattern.
